September 26, 2013
September 26, 2013 marked the date of Zenger Group’s Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to officially open their new corporate headquarters and production facility at 777 East Park Drive in Tonawanda, NY. Steve Zenger opened the ceremony by thanking the Zenger Group employees, without whom the move to the larger facility would not have been possible. Steve then introduced several local business and political figures, including Senator Mark Grisanti, Peter Rivera from the New York State Commission of Labor, and Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz. Grisanti was an unexpected addition, and he mentioned he was glad he was able to make the ceremony to commerate the success of Zenger Group. Other speakers included Town of Tonawanda Deputy Supervisor Joseph Emminger, Dottie Gallagher-Cohen, President of the Buffalo Niagara Partnership, Chamber of Commerce of the Tonawandas President Nancy Schmidt, and Timothy Freeman, President of the Printing Industries Alliance. The building was also blessed by Fr. Ron Sams SJ, Pastor at St. Michael’s Church. The Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was followed up with a reception, plant tours and an open house that went into the evening hours. A great time was had by all.
